A country project is a collective project

We are a collaborative philanthropy that bets on the power of doing it together. We coordinate a network of organizations and join forces with other national and international co-investors to leverage alliances and partnerships capable of tackling urgent and large-scale issues.

This mobilization, guided by joint commitments, is only possible through an ethical, collaborative, and transparent governance strategy. Therefore, we adopted an Integrity Program that has been undertaken by the entire Lemann Foundation and shared with its associated organizations. It includes a code of conduct, specific policies for safeguarding and anti-corruption, and a Confidential Whistleblowing Hotline and Web Portal.

This ecosystem is supported by donations from the Lemann family and co-investing organizations. No tax incentive is associated with such donations, and there is no connection with any company in which the family is a shareholder.

In 2022, we began new institutional partnerships—Co-impact, McKenzie Scott, and VelezReyes+—committed to generating learning outcomes that can inspire and mobilize even more resources and leaders who are committed to accelerating the vision of a more just, more developed Brazil with quality public education for all.
