Leaders committed to a more just country and a more efficient public sector

In 2022, we continued with our partners in the mission to recognize, connect, develop, and value people who are leading or have the potential to use their talents to combat inequalities and engender social transformation.

To this end, we expanded the leadership development opportunities offered by the Brazilian third sector, promoted the focus on racial equity, developed assessments, and mobilized resources. The goal is to boost the ability of more and more leaders representative of the country’s diversity to make significant contributions.

We also focused on people management training in the public sector by investing in partnerships with organizations specialized in stimulating innovative policies for attracting, selecting, developing, and retaining leaders committed to an efficient Brazil.

That number will grow in 2023 with a new partnership with Fulbright, which, in three years, will generate 18 new scholarships for Black and Indigenous students at some of the best universities in the world. Additionally, the Behring Foundation supported ten fellows at some of the best Engineering and Computer Science schools.
